Robert G. Shirra
Robert Shirra is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and President of RGS Consulting International Inc. With over 30 years experience in Strategic Planning, Program/Project Management, Information and Technology Management, Procurement/Contract Management, and Business Development, Mr. Shirra has an extensive background consulting to clients in the Telecommunications, Government, Retail, Transportation, and Distribution industries. He is a senior consultant and entrepreneur, well known for strengths of communication, leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, organizational skills, innovation, and analysis.

Mr. Shirra currently focuses his consulting activities in the areas of Information Management Strategy, Technology Architecture Planning, Service Delivery Management (ITIL® Certified), System Integration Management, and Infrastructure Deployment. He has managed several enterprise-wide technology planning and implementation projects, including replacement of financial management systems, document management systems, retail management systems, telecommunications upgrades, intelligent transportation systems, and network security implementations. Mr. Shirra often acts as Owner’s Representative in major procurement, outsourcing, and contract negotiation initiatives.

Mr. Shirra currently serves as the President of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of British Columbia and as a Board member of ITS Canada. He is a past Board member of the Smart Choices Society of British Columbia, itSMF-British Columbia, and the CIO Association of British Columbia.
